Appearance

Vita is a short, athletic blonde with dreadlocks. She typically wears armored corset, stockings and boots.

Personality

Vita is a self-destructive streetfighter. Nothing like pain to let you know you are alive! Her boosted reflexes makes her highly strung, and she must take drugs in order to relax. Her drug of choice is heroin.

Vita is a diva, confident in her abilities as a dancer and fighter. Her mood swings makes her difficult to like, but she is fiercely loyal to her few real friends.

Background

Vita was born i Quebec 2001. Her father is mid-level government official. Her parents are still alive, but Vita has little contact with them other than perfunctory calls at Christmas. Vita has always suspected that they were more proud of her sister, who has a successful corporate career.

Vita has a twin sister, Louise. The sisters were quite close, but has since lost contact. Louise is a low level executive at Trigon Cybernetique in Montreal. She is on the management fast track and has excellent career prospects.

Vita proved herself as an excellent gymnast and savateuse in high school, but her true calling was ballet. She earned her nickname for her fiery and passionate dancing. ("Vita" is Latin for "life"). She pursed dancing through college and was offered a position at a troupe in New York after graduation.

Vita's promising dancing career was tragically cut short when terrorists released a neuro-plague in New York 2021. She survived, but her damaged nervous system had to be replaced.

The doctors thought she would never regain the full use of her body, and she would certainly never be able to dance professionally again. Her friends in the dance troupe were very sympathetic, which only made things worse. After months of physical therapy and mind-numbing hospital braindance sims, Vita was released from the hospital.

With her professional dancing career dead, Vita suffered from severe depressions. The turning point come when she was is attacked by gangers who figured she was easy meat. A lifetime of training took over. Much to their surprise, the attackers were severely damaged by their intended victim.

Vita began obsessive physical training and self-destructive streetfighting. She entered the underground fighting circuit and became quite popular. The crowd loved to see a beautiful woman beat up boosters or (better yet) other girls.

Vita made a bit of money and upgraded her cyberware at the infamous Dr Rock's clinic. Having made a rep on the fighting circuit, she started working as a bodyguard and enforcer.
