New from the Blammo Ammo company.
Tungsten-Osmium Ammo
DPU-rounds are seriously expensive in this campaign. As an alternative, several
ammunition manufacturers have introduced this new, heavy-duty alloy.
Tungsten-Osmium ammo halves armor protection, but any penetrating damage
is not halved.
Since all manufacturers realized that this ammo would be much in demand they
priced it rather high at 20 Eb/round. Still, this is cheaper than DPU
which sells at
100 Eb/round if you have a license for it, and around ten times that on
the black
market.
Electro-Thermal Enhancement
These changes to the rules for Electro-Thermal Enhancement in
Solo of Fortune 2 adapt them to our damage ratings.
For pistol ammo (see our as yet non-existent ammo table),
the damage dice is
converted from D6 to D10. Note that the maximum damage does not change, but
it now counts as rifle ammunition for armor penetration.
Rifle ammunition simply causes more damage. One of the damage
dice is assumed to
always max out. For example, a 4d10 rifle now does 3d10+10.
