The Polish republic of 2025 is a rather wealthy nation as far as eastern Europe
is concerned. Polands main industry is food and the Polish agricorporations,
opertaing from the fertile plains on the Baltic seaboard are
agressive in both marketing and sales.
Southern Poland is dominated by the
prosperous chemical corporations producing industial chemicals ranging from
the most basic to the outright bizarre. Southern Poland is also the
cultural center of eastern Europe and Krakow is
teeming with artists, ballet academies, musicians and of course the avant-garde
Polish film industry.
Poles are by nature fierce natinalists in this age and very proud of their
economic independence in a time when central Europe is becoming more and more
tied to the financial might of Germany, wich has led to the disturbing fact
that the warm Polish-German relations of the 1990's have cooled down rather
a lot.
